10 Planning Matters


10.1 2010/683 – Hampton Grange, Meriden – demolish existing detached garage and erect two storey side extension.
10.2 2010/694 – Eaves Green Lane, Meriden; Amended Neighbour Notification – change of use of land to a gypsy site for 10 pitches to site 10 mobile homes, 10 touring caravans and ancilliary development including a day room building and vehicle parking on each pitch. Representations already made will be taken into account.

THE NEXT PARISH COUNCIL MEETING IS ON MONDAY 28 JUNE 2010

There are changes planned to the 900 bus route with effect from 25 July 2010.

Our Parish Clerk has invited a representative from National Express to attend so as to explain these changes and answer any questions from concerned residents.

VACANCY FOR MERIDEN PARISH COUNCILLOR

Notice is hereby given that Meriden Parish Council has a vacancy to be filled by co-option

Those wishing to apply for the position should be able to bring the following attributes to the Parish Council:

 • I am willing to support and enable the Parish Council in achieving their desire to achieve Quality Parish Status.

• I have the knowledge and skills to assist the Parish Council and the Meriden Parish Plan Action Group in delivering the actions listed within the Parish Plan.

• I am able to attend the monthly Parish Council Meetings.

• I am apolitical.

• I do not have a single issue approach.


An Application Pack can be obtained from the Parish Clerk. The Application Pack contains the following:

Completed application forms should be returned to the Clerk no later than Monday 12th July.


Applications will be considered at the full meeting of Meriden Parish Council on Monday 26th July 2010 to be held at 7.30pm at the Village Hall.
